Overdracht opbrengst Benefietconcert Oekraïne

Op woensdag 24 mei is de opbrengst van het Benefietconcert voor Oekraïne overgedragen aan vertegenwoordigers van “Maydan Malaga”, de Asociación Ucraniana en Costa del Sol. Het totale bedrag dat het concert uiteindelijk heeft opgebracht, zijnde € 2.675,–, komt ten goede aan de slachtoffers van de oorlog in Irpin, een klein dorpje niet ver van Kiev. Hulpgoederen worden binnenkort met een busje van Maydan Malaga naar Irpin verscheept en lokaal onder de bevolking verdeeld.

Op de bijgaande foto overhandigt onze voorzitter Wilmar Bliek een symbolische cheque ter waarde van € 2.675,– aan Maryana Kasiv van Maydan Malaga. De overhandiging vond plaats in de oefenruimte van CC9 in het bijzijn van leden van de band CC9 (Bas, Igor, John, Paul, Rob, Wilmar), de Oekraïense zangeres Nadiia, vertegenwoordigers van NCCS (Maya Hugenholtz, Ans Gussinklo, Evelyn Bliek), de voorzitter van de Ojén International Residents Association (Maria Martin) en vertegenwoordigers van Maydan Malaga (Maryana Kasiv, Volodymyr Hutei).

Namens de organisatoren en de ontvangers van de opbrengst danken wij nogmaals iedereen die heeft bijgedragen aan het succes van dit concert (CC9, NCCS, OIRA, Restaurant “La Sierra”, alle deelnemers en alle sponsoren – waaronder Hugo Investing en de Nederlandse Evangelische Gemeente).

Handover of the proceeds of the Benefit Concert for Ukraine

Wednesday, May 24th, the proceeds of the Benefit Concert for Ukraine were handed over to representatives of “Maydan Malaga”, de Asociación Ucraniana en Costa del Sol. The total amount that was ultimately raised during the concert, being € 2.675, –, will go to the victims of the war in Irpin, a small village not far from Kiev. Soon various aid materials will be shipped with a minivan from Maydan Malaga to Irpin and distributed among the local population.

In the attached picture our president, Wilmar Bliek, hands over a symbolic check in the value of € 2.675, — to Maryana Kasiv of Maydan Malaga. The handover took place in the practice facilities of CC9 in the presence of members of the band CC9 (Bas, Igor, John, Paul, Rob, Wilmar), the Ukrainian singer Nadiia, representatives of NCCS (Maya Hugenholtz, Ans Gussinklo, Evelyn Bliek), the president of the Ojén International Residents Association (Maria Martin) and representatives of Maydan Malaga (Maryana Kasiv, Volodymyr Hutei).
